Army Command Headquarters Released a Press Release Explaining the Matter Regarding the Media Coverage of “Army Forbidding Soldiers and Officers to Conduct Physical Examination at Test Stations”.

Regarding the circulated online rumor of “Army Forbidding Soldiers and Officers to Conduct Physical Examination at Test Stations”, the Army Command Headquarters has stated today (26th) that the relevant content is a misinterpretation and hereby clarifies on that statement.

The Army Command Headquarters pointed out that taking into account the fact that soldiers and officers have not yet adapted to the heat just before the arrival of summer, apart from publishing notices to request all units to implement dynamic drills on heat damage prevention and self inspections, the command headquarters also ordered each test station to suspend testing for one week to comprehensively reinforce heat stroke preparedness including prevention care, extension training for seed instructors, and inspection on emergency equipment in order to ensure the safety of testing for soldiers and officers.
